The next morning, wake to a breathtaking Saharan sunrise before returning through the stunning Draa Valley—famous for its vast palm groves, ancient kasbahs, and Morocco’s longest river. Your journey concludes back in Marrakech, filled with unforgettable memories of the desert’s timeless beauty and tranquility.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Zagora

• 08:00 AM Departure: Depart from Marrakech in a private, air-conditioned vehicle, ascending the High Atlas Mountains via the dramatic Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260m). Pause for panoramic photos of terraced Berber villages along the way.

• Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou: Visit the legendary UNESCO-listed Ksar, a mud-brick fortress featured in Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and Lawrence of Arabia.

• Ouarzazate & Anti-Atlas: Pass through Ouarzazate and travel down through the Anti-Atlas landscape, reaching Zagora by late afternoon.

• Sunset Camel Trek & Desert Camp: Mount your camel for a ride into the desert dunes as the sun sets. Arrive at your desert camp for a delicious traditional dinner and live Berber music under the stars.

Day 2: Zagora – Draa Valley – Tamnougalt Kasbah – Marrakech

• Saharan Sunrise: Rise early to catch a peaceful sunrise over the desert dunes, followed by breakfast at the camp.

• Return Trek & Draa Valley: Ride your camel back to Zagora to meet your driver, then begin the scenic journey through the Draa Valley—home to endless palm oases and historic fortified villages.

• Tamnougalt Kasbah: Stop to explore Kasbah Tamnougalt, a hidden historical jewel known for its impressive southern Moroccan earthen architecture.

• High Atlas to Marrakech: Re-cross the Atlas Mountains, arriving back at your hotel or Riad in Marrakech by early evening (around 06:30 PM–07:00 PM).
