Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

• 08:00 AM Departure: Depart from your hotel or Riad in Marrakech, crossing the dramatic Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260m) with panoramic views over Berber villages and terraced mountain slopes.

• Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou: Explore the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, a world-famous mud-brick fortress featured in Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and Lawrence of Arabia.

• Ouarzazate & Skoura: Continue through Ouarzazate ("the Hollywood of Africa") and drive along the "Road of a Thousand Kasbahs" through the Skoura Oasis.

• Overnight in Dades: Arrive in the scenic Dades Valley in the late afternoon for dinner and an overnight stay in a charming local Riad or guesthouse.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todgha Gorge – Merzouga Desert & Sunset Camel Trek

• Todgha Gorge Walk: After breakfast, head toward the spectacular Todgha Gorge, where limestone cliffs rise 300 meters high above the river basin.

• Journey to the Sahara: Drive past Erfoud and the palm groves of Tafilalt to reach the desert village of Merzouga, the gateway to the Erg Chebbi dunes.
